Remote Rapid Assessment: Power Needs of Ukraine’s Water and Sanitation Service Providers (WASHPaLS2)

The aim of the project was both to prevent urban water shortages and to assess longer-term improvements specific to energy efficiency that could be made by water utilities (Vodokanals) in five cities of Ukraine: Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Kherson and Odesa.

The rapid assessment was followed by procurement support, including identification of equipment specifications required for tender documents, market and vendor research, review of offers received from potential suppliers and presentation of assessment results.
