Special Assistance Program for the Modernization of Hospitals in Eastern Ukraine

The objective of the project was to improve the building infrastructure of state hospitals in Donetsk Region by identifying short-term measures for the renovation and modernization of hospital buildings, including building systems and energy efficiency improvements.
CDM provided engineering services covering the project from initial site assessment and development of rehabilitation concepts through detailed design, tender preparation and construction supervision. Rehabilitation concepts were developed in coordination with GIZ and local owners, including municipalities, regions and districts, and incorporated energy-efficiency solutions.
