CDM Engineering Ukraine provides comprehensive environmental and social consulting services, supporting projects at all stages of their implementation. We conduct environmental impact assessments (EIA) in accordance with Ukrainian legislation, and we prepare environmental and social impact assessments (ESIA) in line with international standards and the requirements of international financial institutions, including the EBRD, IFC, and EIB.
Our experts have extensive experience in assessing environmental and social risks and impacts for investment projects in the energy, water supply and wastewater management, industrial, municipal, and transportation infrastructure sectors. We analyze the environmental, social, health, and safety aspects of projects, develop risk management measures, and ensure compliance with national and international requirements at all stages of a project’s life cycle—from planning and design through construction, operation, and decommissioning.
ESIA
Our certified experts have extensive experience in preparing Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) in accordance with international standards and the requirements of international financial institutions, including the EBRD, IFC, and EIB. These assessments are often a key requirement for projects financed by international financial institutions and development partners.
We have successfully delivered ESIAs for projects in the energy, water and wastewater, industrial, municipal, and transport sectors. Our assessments evaluate potential environmental and social risks and impacts, occupational health and safety, stakeholder engagement, and community-related aspects, while developing appropriate mitigation measures to ensure compliance with international standards. The assessments cover the entire project lifecycle, including planning and design, pre-construction, construction, operation, decommissioning, and site closure.
Environmental and Social Audits (EDD, ESDD, EHS)
We provide environmental and social audit services in accordance with national legislation and international standards. Our expertise includes Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD), Environmental Due Diligence (EDD), Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) audits.
