Daniel Aspleaf
Owner and Director of CDM Engineering Ukraine, Daniel Aspleaf has a Master’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of Washington (USA) and has 25 years of professional experience, 13 of them in Ukraine, Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union countries.
Combining a background in the physical sciences with international business development, Mr. Aspleaf is experienced in developing and managing complex, large-scale projects, involving investments in water, waste water, solid waste, transport, and energy-related infrastructure.
Mr. Aspleaf possesses a profound knowledge of the Ukrainian business environment, in particular related to infrastructure investments. This includes extensive experience with feasibility studies, procurement, tendering procedures, and project management particularly within the framework of FIDIC contract administration.
Mykola Yakushov
Mykola Yakushov is a Lead Utilities Engineer with a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 12 years of professional experience. Mr. Yakushov is a Certified Chief Design Engineer (GIP).
Mr. Yakushov responsibilities include design development of water supply, sewerage, ventilation and gas supply systems, preparation of specifications, technical documentation, selection and integration of technical equipment, supervision of installation work, drawing development and adaptation of design documentation to local standards.
Mr. Yakushov has worked on projects for companies in various sectors, including municipal water rehabilitation, chemical and petroleum processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, agricultural production. Mr. Yakushov has also taken part in projects financed by International Donor Institutions, like USAID and NEFCO.
Illia Yatsenko
Illia Yatsenko is an Engineering Project Manager with Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Master's Degree in Energy Management and 12 years of experience in providing services for large industrial companies and social infrastructure facilities.
Mr. Yatsenko’s responsibilities include coordination of internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure successful execution of the projects, ensuring resource availability and allocation, timely project implementation within scope and within budget, development of detailed project plans to track progress, measurement of project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques, and management of relationships with the client and all stakeholders.
Mr. Yatsenko has provided services to clients in various industries, including municipal infrastructure, commercial construction (hotels, business centers, supermarkets), chemical production (cosmetics), food & beverages, mining and agriculture.
During his professional career, Mr. Yatsenko has provided services to such clients as USAID, Bayer/Monsanto Ukraine, ERM UK, Megaline, Obolon, Danone, Avon, Novus, Ukrainian International Airlines, Retal Ukraine, and Naftogaz Ukraine.
Bohdan Doroshenko
Bohdan Doroshenko is an Engineering Project Manager with a Master's Degree in Industrial and Civil Engineering and 13 years of professional experience.
His responsibilities include coordination of internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure successful execution of the project, ensuring resource availability and allocation, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget, measurement of project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques, management of relationship with the client and all stakeholders, construction works supervision, procurement support and preparation of as-built documentation.
Mr. Doroshenko has provided services to clients in various industries, including power supply, construction materials production and transportation infrastructure.
During his professional career, Mr. Doroshenko has provided services to such clients as USAID, Ivano-Frankivsk Cement (IFCEM), Bayer/Monsanto Ukraine, New Building Materials, Kyivenergo, Kievgiprotrans, and Kyivmiskbud.
Tetiana Golovko
Tetiana Golovko is an experienced Financial Manager with a Master’s Degree in Finance and 15 years of professional experience in financial assessments and management of international contracts.
Mrs. Golovko has profound knowledge of the Ukrainian accounting and taxation systems in both private and public sectors, as well as IFRS. Mrs. Golovko has extensive experience in the financial analysis of regional and municipal infrastructure investments, cost-benefit analysis as a part of feasibility studies, financial and economic analysis as a part of options analysis for regional and municipal utility planning, development of investment options for utility modernization for IFIs such as EuropeAid, the EIB, and GIZ. Mrs. Golovko has experience in planning and delivery of training for municipal authorities in operational cost assessment of utilities development.
Mrs. Golovko has been responsible for the financial management of multiple IFI-financed projects for donors such as Europe Aid, the US Department of State, the EBRD, USAID, GIZ, and JICA.
Vadim Ubizkyi
Vadym Ubizkyi is a certified Technical Supervision Engineer with a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and 20 years of professional experience.
Mr. Ubizkiy’s responsibilities include licensed technical supervision of construction works, subcontractors’ management, procurement and permitting support, management of design documentation preparation, cost management and quality control according to design.
Mr. Ubizkyi has provided services to clients in various industries, including agriculture, transportation, chemical production, steel manufacturing, power generation and supply (power lines and substations) and renewable energy.
Mr. Ubizkyi has experience working for companies such as USAID, CRH, EuroCape Ukraine, IFCEM, AECOM Ukraine and ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih.
