Environmental and Social Impact Assessment of a Lithium Mining Project

The assignment comprised an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) of a lithium mining project in accordance with international best practice and International Finance Corporation (IFC) requirements, as well as an Environmental Impact Assessment (OVD) in accordance with Ukrainian legislation. The assessment covered the mine site and the associated waste disposal facility.
The work included site investigations, baseline studies covering environmental and socioeconomic conditions, sampling and laboratory testing, and preparation of environmental and social assessment and management documentation.
