Programme Wastewater Treatment in Mykolaiv – Feasibility Study

Feasibility study for the construction of wastewater management system including reconstruction of pumping stations and sewer pipes and construction and/or rehabilitation of a wastewater treatment plant with an average treatment capacity of 80,000 m3/d. Development of scenarios for the future (war, peace, migration, etc) and technical possibilities such as new WWTP, rehabilitation of existing WWTP or a combination. Technical and financial feasibility assessment including preliminary designs and ‘no regret’ early action projects upstream the WWTP, Financial and Economic analysis, preparation of Priority Investment Programme, Investment Packages and Procurement Plans, Environmental and Social Assessment and development of ToR for ESIA.
Our services
- The Feasibility Study is carried out in three Phases:
- Phase 1: High-level overview of status and condition of the existing sewerage system and the existing WWTP. Development of planning scenarios.
- Phase 2: Analysis of the planning scenarios and recommendations for how to develop and rehabilitate the wastewater system in Mykolaiv. Identification of smaller “early action” projects.
- Phase 3: Conceptual, technical design of a new WWTP located in Mykolaiv City, with recommendations on capacity and wastewater treatment technology.
