The purpose of the USAID Economic Resilience Activity was to improve the overall economic resilience of eastern Ukraine. Starting in 2022, the project expanded its territorial coverage to central and western regions of Ukraine and adapted to provide crisis-related support, address urgent public infrastructure challenges, assist displaced persons and support public utility services.
CDM performed a full scope of engineering and environmental management services for the rehabilitation and improvement of existing public infrastructure, including local roads, bridges, water supply and sewerage networks, waste management infrastructure, public administration buildings, healthcare and education facilities.

- The assignment also included technical assessments for routine restoration of more than 25 border crossing points on Ukraine's southwestern borders and 8 strategically important railway border crossing points.
